W/P PvP build
I've been playing with the usual hammer builds, they're nice but sometimes it takes a while to build adrenaline up especially if you're getting blocked a lot. So I came up with this:
[skill]Devastating Hammer[/skill][skill]Mighty Blow[/skill][skill]Heavy blow[/skill][skill]Crushing Blow[/skill][skill]"Fall Back!"[/skill][skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill][skill]Signet of Aggression[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Using For Great Justice! and Signet of Aggression you can gain full adrenaline out of combat, so you can spike right off the bat. Also mid fight you can recharge adrenaline very quickly.
A variation:
[skill]Backbreaker[/skill][skill]Pulverizing Smash[/skill][skill]Heavy blow[/skill][skill]Irresistible Blow[/skill][skill]"Fall Back!"[/skill][skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill][skill]Signet of Aggression[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
With this one you can run the chain 3x in quick succession if you use For Great Justice after Heavy Blow. To recharge you typically only need Signet of Aggression and two hits.
Any idea how to tweak this? I'm not that happy with Fall Back, but I wanted some sort of speed that synergised with Signet of Aggression.
PS it's a shame some of the skills are missing from the database :<

I'd go with [skill]enraging charge[/skill] instead of "Fall back!" and I also prefer having an IAS in there to pull off your combo faster.
The one I use in my backbreaker build is [skill]tiger stance[/skill].
And I also prefer bull's over Irresistible, but that might be just me.
Looks quite ok tho.

Needs an IAS. Go with flail and rush instead of fall back and mighty blow if you want the sig to build adren outside of combat.

You probably use a Furious hammer of Fortitude with 15^50 inscription?

You definately need an IAS or it's not a spike. Any decent Monk will have protted enough by the time you're finished.

why not take [skill]fierce blow[/skill] here ? i mean, you're using heavy blow, so you're assuming the weakness will still be there.
drop fall back for flail, without an IAS even my grandmother could prot that up before you even get dangerous.
Also, you should've noted that signet of aggression is now 5 sec recharge for 2 strikes of adrenalin. This forum still has the old description (switch to GW BBCode already...).
It's an "ok" build, but i'd still prefer an enraging charge+FGJ combo, 6 strikes right away, then once your target starts kiting go something like bull's >> flail >> crushing blow >> devestating hammer >> fierce blow

Actually... I never saw the point of Fierce Blow on a dev hammer bar - Dev needs 7 strikes of adrenaline, so you're not going to be using either Fierce or Mighty till Dev's charged anyway.
At least if the weakness disappears during your chain, you've got a full powered attack, as opposed to Fierce's half damage without weakness.
